For example, Twitter user PrepperAssasin said that the driver crashed their computer so now they have to "setup Windows again from scratch". According to other reports, the update changes BIOS settings, which might be the root of the problems. Users warn those willing to install the driver to back up their data.
It has been two long months since the last driver update, so the issues it brings seem especially rage-inducing. Hopefully, AMD is working on a fix right now and will be ready to solve all the problems quickly.
