CG COOKIE has unveiled a new Blender course on creating rigged eye setups, titled Master Eye Rigging with Blender.
The course, led by instructor Wayne Dixon, will cover the basics of visualizing eyeballs and eyelids, along with more advanced techniques like eye tracking, pupil dilation, created using multiple approaches, rigging non-spherical eyes that can be animated, and geo-swapping for a stop-motion effect.
Apart from this, the course explains how to rig classic clamshell-style eyes, use shape keys for blinking, create a 2D Grease Pencil eye rig, and use the action constraint for an advanced eye setup.
The learning materials are structured into chapters for better understanding and feature 11 hands-on exercises, along with detailed PDFs for reference.
