According to a new report, Lenovo is working on its own portable gaming PC. The device, called Legion Go, is expected to feature an 8-inch display. For comparison, the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally are equipped with 7-inch screens.
The authors of the publication believe that a larger display could make Lenovo's gadget stand out from its competitors. Legion Go will be powered by an AMD processor from the Phoenix family. To be more specific, sources say the new device will have the AMD Phoenix 7040 series chip which is described as "ultra-thin". The chip is mostly meant for powerful ultrabook-style devices.
The story from Windows Central also claims that Legion Go will support 15W low-power states for lightweight games and maximized battery life.
The mini-PC will reportedly run on the Windows 11 operating system. Previously, images of an unreleased Android device called Lenovo Legion Play had surfaced online.
