LG Introduced the Largest and the Smallest OLED TVs

At CES 2022, LG introduced its updated C and G OLED series that include the first 97-inch and 42-inch TVs as well as announced other products and told about new features.

LG introduced the biggest OLED TV that ever existed along with the smallest one. The first 97-inch and 42-inch TVs are the part of 2022 lineup which was announced within the CES 2022.

LG reported that the new models are the fifth generation of its A9 processor, and promised they will include enhanced tone mapping, finer 4K upscaling, and a better sense of depth. Every HDMI port in the updated C and G series will provide full HDMI 2.1 capabilities as well as VRR up to 120Hz for PC gamers.

Along with the OLED series, LG also introduced Mini LED TVs that were named “QNED” this year. These TVs use the technology for better contrast and black levels than LG’s older LCD sets. Although black levels and contrast are inferior to OLED TVs, Mini LED has a slightly higher brightness.

The webOS on LG TVs is also expecting some tweaks in 2022. The software will be able to add several different accounts with their own settings, as well as it will provide features like Always Ready mode, which will allow to turn on music, show the time, or images when the TV is turned off.

Full pricing and the release date for LG’s 2022 TV lineup weren't announced yet, however, we can hope they will be revealed closer to the spring of 2022.
