Previous Version

Light Engine released Light Tracer Render 2.3 – an update to the 3D rendering software and physically-based GPU renderer that can run directly in a web browser.

The new version introduces an online material library, where you can find over 1500 PBR materials, some of which are built-in, while most of them can be downloaded on demand from ambientCG.

The Lights library offers more than 30 studio light presets, most of which are based on real-world measurements and capture techniques.

The updated Light Tracer Render also improved animation support and workflow. Users can loop and stretch animation tracks and set a rotation center for the camera. They can also now import and export skeletal animations in glTF format, as well as FBX format.

Additionally, it is now also possible to import models in PLY format, while Vertex colors can be imported in the glTF and PLY format.
