Make Good-Looking 3D Trees Easily with This Fun Free Tool

"I was tired of hunting for good looking tree assets that didn't cost a fortune, so I decided to make a tool to generate my own," developer Dan Greenheck prefaced his introduction to EZ-Tree, his procedural tree generator with over 50 parameters you can tweak to get your perfect tree.

The open-source tool creates a variety of trees for free, and you can change their leaves, bark, and branches the way you wish and then export them as GLB or PNG.

Earlier, Greenheck presented another Three.js tree generator prototype that was most likely improved to turn into EZ-Tree.
