Making 3D Spaceship Concepts with Blender's Geometry Nodes

Daniel Bystedt previewed a procedural tool for creating 3D vehicle concepts.

Senior Concept Artist Daniel Bystedt, known for creating useful Blender plug-ins, has shared a preview of a cool procedural tool that would allow its users to create 3D spaceship concepts in just a click of a button. According to the creator, the Geometry Nodes-powered setup was created for this year's Blender Conference, set to take place on October 27-29, 2022 in Amsterdam, during which Daniel plans to share a talk titled "Using Geometry Nodes for Vehicle Concept Art."

In his presentation, Daniel plans to demonstrate how to use Geometry Nodes to generate 3D models for vehicles and spaceships, which can then be refined manually in either 2D or 3D. The presentation is set to air on October 28th at 13:00, you can learn more about it here.
