Mari 4.6v4 Available

Foundry has released Mari 4.6v4, a new version of the team's texture painting toolkit.

The newest version is officially described as a maintenance release, but it also adds a number of new features. The update introduces a new local space mode for the transform tool and improves the baking workflow.

The local space mode for the Transform Paint Buffer tool allows users to move the paint buffer across the surface of an object being textured.

The baking workflow has been improved offering a new Limited Patch Range option for the Bake Point node. You can now limit baking to a range of patches and save time.

The Bake Point node has a new Export on Bake option allowing users to automatically export the result of a bake to disk.
