NetEase confirmed that Marvel Rivals Season 2: Hellfire Gala, launching on April 11, will feature two new characters, Emma Frost, a powerful telepath and former member of the X-Men, and Ultron, a mighty protagonist, AI by his nature.
In the recently revealed trailer, Emma Frost gathers superheroes from different sagas of Marvel's multiverse for the glamorous Hellfire Gala evening. Among her guests are Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Wolverine, Loki, Luna Snow, and several others. The gala is a celebration of common peace and solidarity, but the festive occasion is crashed by a brutal invasion of Ultron, who interrupts Frost in mid-sentence and threatens that all the superheroes "will be exterminated." The unexpected attack makes heroes abandon their formalities and forces them to fight.
