The new 12.2 update introduces several new features, including an automatic UV packing system and the ability to import multiple FBX files into the same scene.
CLO Virtual Fashion has officially launched Marvelous Designer 12.2, a new and improved version of its renowned 3D clothing design software.
One of the standout new features introduced in this update is the novel UV packing system, which enables users to automatically pack selected UV shells into a targeted UV file. With this new system, users gain the ability to preserve island rotation and relative scale, tweak the packing ratio, and pack islands into separate UV tiles.
Moreover, the release also adds a new option for importing or exporting multiple objects or avatars in the FBX format while keeping the existing objects in the scene, introduces the Roll Up feature, which makes it easier to fold the ends of garments, such as sleeve openings, pants openings, and such, and brings the ability to select multiple pattern pieces that are connected by sewing relationships by double-clicking.
