Massive Squad-Based Shooter Enlisted Is Coming to Steam

You can still experience World War II from a launcher.

Enlisted, a free squad-based multiplayer shooter developed by Darkflow Software and published by Gaijin Entertainment, is joining millions of other games on Steam in Q1 of 2024. Previously, you could start it with a launcher only, but soon you'll have a choice.

Enlisted lets you command an entire squad during World War II. What makes it unique is the size of the battles: each of them features hundreds of soldiers, tanks, and aircraft. If you lose a soldier, you can immediately switch to another one and continue the fight, which adds to the feeling of fighting in a truly grand battle. It offers diverse military equipment, 16 different soldier classes, and the ability to create custom missions.

"The game features four countries participating in the war: the USA, the USSR, Germany and Japan. Choose just one or all of them and build your own army to your liking from the myriad of squads with different specialties. Based on your choices, you’ll end up on different battlefields, each with its own weapons, vehicles and matching uniforms."

On Steam, you can find the game under the name Enlisted: Reinforced, "symbolizing the recent massive changes to the game, and how far the community and Enlisted have come since its initial release." The fights will remain fully cross-platform between the Gaijin.Net client, Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox.

If you'd like to switch from the launcher to Steam and save your progress, you can do so within 30 days of Enlisted’s release on Valve's platform.
