If you've ever wanted to master the art of creating VFX explosions, this is your chance to join a workshop and discover how to set up truly mind-blowing effects.
Guided by Urban Bradesko, a professional VFX Artist with a real passion for digital explosions, you'll delve into art direction, volume manipulation, and advanced tips and tricks for working with pyro.
During the first few weeks, you will focus on building emitters, which are critical in shaping 80% of the explosion's appearance. Regardless of the solver used, emitters are essential for creating the explosion's look, shape, and speed. Without a solid emitter, you are testing your luck on how the explosion will be simulated since the shapes change every time you alter the resolution.
In the following weeks, you will engage in practical, shot-based projects similar to those featured in the teaser. You will also tackle rendering and compositing, recreate famous explosion shots, and reverse-engineer how they were done.
The course is designed for advanced participants, with all lectures pre-recorded and mentoring and support available 24/7 throughout the week. The Ultimate Explosions Workshop starts on October 8th.
