Maxon Might Raise Subscription Prices in September

Users reportedly receive emails with the news affecting its software, including Cinema 4D and ZBrush.

Maxon may increase subscription prices for its products, including Cinema 4D and ZBrush, on September 1, according to user reports.

As noticed by CG Channel, an image of the new prices has surfaced on the internet, stating you will have to pay more for Maxon One, Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Redshift, and Red Giant.

Subscriptions for Maxon One will rise from $149/month to $169/month, Cinema 4D (including Redshift) will cost $109/month, $15 more than before, Redshift itself will be $85, ZBrush will include the software for iPad and be $49 instead of $39, while Red Giant (including Maxon Studio) will jump from $79 to $85.

Moreover, it looks like Maxon might discontinue Cinema 4D-only plans and merge them with the Redshift renderer.

As CG Channel notes, Maxon hasn't raised subscription prices since 2019, so this turn of events is not that surprising. It is not the only one to increase costs in the 3D industry: several weeks ago, Blender Market also announced some changes.
