This is largely a bugfix update, with some functional enhancements for 3ds Max and Houdini plug-ins.
Maxon has released a new version of its 3D rendering software as part of the 2025 lineup. Unlike version 2025.5, which introduced more substantial updates, version 2025.6 is primarily a bugfix release, addressing over 20 issues.
That said, it still brings a few enhancements for 3ds Max and Houdini plug-ins. For example, 3ds Max users (2023 or later) can now take advantage of a DirectX 11 viewport preview for Dome Lights, complete with OCIO support and real-time color adjustment. Meanwhile, Houdini users gain the ability to control OBJ parameters at the SOP level through the newly added Redshift Object Params node.
