You can finally see who'll be by your side in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. BioWare revealed a cast of colorful characters in its new trailer, and I can now understand why it changed the game's name to better fit the companions.
Every one of them has a rich story behind: there is a mage killer, a Veil jumper, a dragon hunter, and more curious personalities. But new faces are not the only ones you'll see: meet your old friend Varric and charming scout Harding (a lot of fans' favorite NPC and, it seems, a playable hero now) – you might barely recognize them, but they will definitely warm your heart.

What we know about The Veilguard for now is that BioWare has tinkered with its combat system and introduced a new evil threat aside from Solas. We should see 15 minutes of gameplay on June 11.
