NOG Studio showed the capabilities of their Unreal Engine-powered platform for creating tabletop RPG experiences.
NOG Studio released a new demo that showcases the feature of Menyr, the team's upcoming tool that will allow everyone to create their own tabletop RPG experiences.
According to the demo, the team has already set up a Dice Tool that will allow you to create your own dice with 4, 6, 10, 12, and 20 sides, a character library with tons of various characters, a grid tool, a procedural landscape generator, a biome and terraforming tools to customize your game worlds to your liking, a dungeon generator, a cinematic camera, tools to control seasons, weather, and time, and more. The team commented that this progress would not be possible without Unreal Engine.
In case you missed it, Menyr is NOG Studio's storytelling engine designed to allow players to create worlds in seconds and play directly in the program with friends. The engine promises to be great for playing TTRPGs and will give you the ability to change the mood of your scenes in real-time and adventure into your worlds with AAA graphics.
The engine is set to be released later this year and will be free to play. You can learn more here.
