Bevel shader magic.
As 3D Artist Jesse Miettinen, also known as Blenderesse, explained, this oddly satisfying (and really heavy) welding setup that you could watch for hours primarily uses a bevel shader, with some ambient occlusion to mask some parts.
The artist also kindly shared some nodes for the orange one below, so take a look if you’re interested in creating something similar:

We also recently showcased another impressive setup by Jesse Miettinen, featuring auto-focus created with Blender's Simulation Nodes and raycasting:
If you missed this, Jesse Miettinen is the creator of many great Blender tools, such as a brand-new cottage generator, raindrops simulator, a Geometry Nodes-powered bridge generator that can adapt to the landscape, and water smudge mask generator, and the artist behind this Finland-inspired marchlands environment, a short animation inspired by the Dune series, a procedural hazmat tent simulation, and more.
