His presence is funny and sad at the same time.
If Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 ever wants to choose a mascot, I have a suggestion: the red "Error-Man" you can see in the game when an asset doesn't load properly.
The guy is hilarious, holding an ERROR sign and showing thumbs-up, entertaining players, but when you think about it, his growing popularity points to the sad state of the recently released game.
Many people report issues even at the loading screen and criticize MSFS for its abundance of bugs, and seeing the red man just means there is another problem the developer needs to fix.
Microsoft knows about the multiple issues players experience: "With so many users initializing the sim concurrently, we have a large number of server requests. We are working to help resolve the issues as soon as possible," the support said.
If you can't get past the loading screen, it recommends a reboot or "waiting to allow the loading to proceed as normal."
Hopefully, the company will fix all these problems, although I will miss the Error-Man a little.
