Microsoft Is Allegedly Helping AMD Expand into AI Processors

Microsoft is reportedly working with AMD on expansion into the chipmaker’s AI processors. According to Bloomberg, Microsoft is providing engineering resources to support AMD's developments as they try to compete with NVIDIA, which dominates the AI chips market.

The company is interested in an alternative to NVIDIA's processors needed for power-costly AI services in its Azure Cloud.
