Kristoffer Zetterstrand has pixelated his works again.
Minecraft is turning 15 this year and adding 15 new pixel paintings for you to decorate your humble home or rich castle. The images were created full-sized by the original artist Kristoffer Zetterstrand and then shrunk and pixelated.
Players will see the final result in testing soon, and while you're patiently waiting, here is a quick look:
Every Minecraft player knows Zetterstrand's artworks, and there are some pieces especially famous among the community, such as the burning skull. Last month, he shared how back in 2010, Notch asked him to make pixel paintings for his "little weird indie hobby game" Minecraft.
"So I shrunk down some pics of my oil paintings and played around with them a bit."
He also mentioned that while it's nice to be recognized, he doesn't need people to know the art was made by him.
