And for a moment, the rivals became partners.

The German divisions of Bethesda and PlayStation have come together for a collaborative Christmas promotion. The announcement was made on Twitter and The Elder Scrolls Online forum. As part of this partnership, they will be giving away prizes including a Hermaeus Mora figurine from The Elder Scrolls universe, a DualSense controller, a PULSE 3D wireless headset, and a charging station for DualSense gamepads.

"Advent, Advent a little light is burning and great prizes await you! We start with an ESO package in collaboration with PlayStationDE. Write to us about which people in Tamriel you would most like to spend Christmas with and follow/repost to participate," shared Bethesda Deutschland.

To enter the giveaway, participants need to share which citizen of Tamriel they would most like to spend Christmas with. Also, they need to make a repost about the promotion on Twitter.

This unique joint venture has attracted a lot of attention from social media users and gaming communities. Many have humorously referred to it as a "Christmas miracle," as it symbolizes the union of Microsoft-owned Bethesda Studio and Sony's gaming division, PlayStation.

Speaking of Christmas, Microsoft has recently shared its ugly sweater, which this time features the legendary Bliss backdrop from Windows XP that shows a green hill and blue sky with white clouds.
