SunnySide offers the Japanese countryside and meaningful relationships.
There are plenty of farming simulators out there, but none are like SunnySide, an upcoming adventure by RainyGames offering a modern take on familiar tasks.

SunnySide's strongest side is its deep characters and the meaningful relationships you can build with them. Written and drawn by women, the people in the area shine bright with their relatable stories and complex personalities. The team "turned the common tropes and archetypes on their heads" trying to "subvert expectations" and make the experience memorable and even life-changing.

The cute sassy drone Sparky will help you explore the town, and you will teach it about humanity in return. Aside from that, the developers promise over 100 crops, 27 characters to befriend, hundreds of recipes, and a realistic economy.
What brings the game forward is its modern view on farming. Forget spending all day running around with a watering can, grab a hose, automate as much as you can, and enjoy the good of the 21st century, including container and raised bed gardening, sustainable energy generation, drip tape watering systems, and bulk animal care.
