Vitaly Bulgarov has unveiled a new personal project made with ZBrush and MoI3D.
Vitaly Bulgarov, a Digital Artist, Director, Producer, and Co-Founder of Cold Symmetry, has taken a break from the fantasy world of Mortal Shell to pursue his passion for sci-fi, unveiling a new personal project that makes you wish the studio's next game would explore a futuristic setting.
Blending organic and hard-surface design, the artwork depicts a gigantic mecha-kidney complete with pipes, wires, and other mechanical components that make you wonder what kind of creature this organ might belong to. While few details about the project have been shared, the artist revealed via hashtags that the model was created using ZBrush and MoI3D, a lesser-known CAD software that offers booleans and a 2D profile curve-driven workflow, making it an ideal companion modeler for rendering and DCC projects.
Earlier, the creator rediscovered some of his old works, which demonstrated in close detail the cybernetic bodies he had created for the Ghost in the Shell movie.
