Hans Godard, a Principal Technical Artist at Team Kaiju and ex-Character TD at Naughty Dog, has recently shared a short demo showcasing the capabilities of Dynamic Rivet, a robust and practical animation tool he developed while working at ND. Made all the way back in 2016, the tool was written for Maya in C++. According to the creator, the tool was used in the development of The Last of Us Part II to help set up the animation of Ellie crying and singing.
