Pratik Solanki previewed a cool new shader that will soon be available for download.
3D Blender Artist and Co-Founder of Weybec Animation Studio Pratik Solanki, also known as Dragoneex, continues experimenting with stylized shaders in Blender, presenting one more outstanding setup that will soon be available for download.
This time, the creator shared a look at an impressive Blender-powered stylized outline shader that enables one to add neat Spider-Verse-style non-photorealistic outlines to their 3D models. According to a preview demo shared by Pratik, the shader comes with several customizable parameters, including Thickness, Noise, Detail, and Distance, allowing you to tweak the outline and get the exact result you want.
Earlier, the artist also showed how to create an entire anime-style landscape using a single NPR shader:
And some impressive base and sketch shaders, also made with Blender:
According to Pratik, all of the shaders shown above, including the one for creating outliners, were set up for the Stylized Shaders add-on for Blender. For those unaware, Stylized Shaders is a powerful tool designed specifically for 2D look development. At the moment, it offers a collection of 18 unique procedural shaders, each with its own distinctive style. This add-on is compatible with Blender 3.4 and newer versions.
"Experience a seamless and user-friendly interface design that simplifies your workflow," reads the add-on's description. "With just a few clicks, you can effortlessly select, assign, add outlines, and set up your entire world. Enjoy a hassle-free experience as you navigate through the intuitive interface and effortlessly customize your settings with ease."
The new shaders are set to be added to the Stylized Shaders add-on in the near future, we highly encourage you to follow Pratik on Twitter so as not to miss any future updates. The add-on itself can be purchased via the author's Blender Market page.
