New 3D Environments Created for a Photorealistic UE5-Powered Game

Matt Newell continues working on Lushfoil Photography Sim, showcasing a couple of the game's newest levels.

Matt Newell, a 3D Artist and Game Developer whose incredible photographer simulator with photorealistic graphics, Lushfoil Photography Sim, is easily one of the most highly-anticipated games here on 80 Level, continues working on the title and showcasing the development process on Twitter.

This time, the creator unveiled a couple of new highly realistic 3D environments set up for Lushfoil, including an abandoned Chinese fishing village, complete with impressive decrepit buildings, stunning rain FX, and, for some reason, a small black hole just floating in the air and minding its own business, and a fantastic French Alps level with lush vegetation and the scenery that can hardly be distinguished from a video recording. As usual, the developer leveraged the latest tools provided by Unreal Engine 5 to create the environments.

Additionally, Matt also shared a brief demo showcasing some of LPS' gameplay elements and unveiled a list of locations that will be present in the game:

If you would like to learn more about Matt's development journey and the behind-the-scenes of Lushfoil, we also recommend checking out our recent interview with the creator. In it, Matt shared his artistic journey, discussed the development process behind Lushfoil Photography Sim, spoke about the game's environments and mechanics, and explained why he partnered up with Annapurna Interactive.
