New Cinematic Cyberpunk Shooter for John Wick Lovers

Exercise your gun fu muscles in SPINE.

Enjoy close-quarters fights in SPINE, an upcoming gun fu action game for the fans of John Wick and John Woo. Set in a cyberpunk city, this cinematic shooter allows you to enhance your skills with Spine augmentations so you can beat any opponent.

"Ever wondered what it's like to be the hero of an action movie? To find yourself in the epicenter of the action, kicking the gun out of your opponent's hand, or parrying a bullet with your trusty katana?"

You are Redline, a rebellious street artist with a combat AI companion, Spine, an implant with its own mind. The story likely took some pages from Cyberpunk 2077 and similar media: there is an evil AI regime, which "transformed this city into a literal heaven on Earth" or so it says; the opposition that wants to go against the big baddie; and a personal revenge plot that drives your actions. The game is also inspired by the developer Nekki's "endless love for action movies."

"It's not just a game; it's an artistic canvas for your own style of destruction," thinks the studio, a publisher and developer of Shadow Fight, Vector, and 11x11.

SPINE's "immersive dance of action and technology" is brought to you by Unreal Engine 5, no surprise here: the game looks stylish and sleek, providing smooth movement so important for titles of this genre.

This single-player action will be released for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, but there is no date yet.
