New DreamWorks Racing Game Announced

From Shrek to Oogway and Boss Baby – the game will feature 20 of the most iconic DreamWorks Animation characters, each with their own unique vehicle.

GameMill Entertainment and Bamtang Games, known for their collaboration on the Nickelodeon Kart Racers series, have announced DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing, a new racing game featuring legendary characters from DreamWorks' animated movies.

According to GameMill, the game will feature twenty of the most iconic characters from DreamWorks Animation's illustrious library, tasked to shift, drift, and jump at high speeds across a variety of tracks, also inspired by DreamWorks Animation's films. The list of tracks includes The Kingdom of Far Far Away from Shrek, Spirit Realm from Kung Fu Panda, Baby Corp from The Boss Baby, New York City Zoo from Madagascar, and more.

Such characters as Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Po, Tigress, Master Shifu, Boss Baby, Puss in Boots, Hiccup, Astrid, and many others will make their appearance in the game, as well as Kung Fu Panda's Master Oogway and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish's Wolf, which are set to be available in the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game.

Each character will have their own specially designed vehicle that complements their personality and theme. For example, Shrek's kart will have a swamp-themed appearance, Donkey will be driving his Dragon wife, Shifu's kart will exude Ancient China vibes, etc. Furthermore, DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing is set to feature a variety of game modes, including Free Race, Cups, Challenge, and Time Trial.

DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing is coming sometime in 2023 and will cost $39.99 for the standard physical and digital editions and $49.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition. The game is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
