The newly launched Unreal Engine 5.6 brings powerful new tools for building high-fidelity open worlds at 60 FPS, native animation and rigging workflows, major MetaHuman enhancements, and other features, including those specifically designed for mobile game developers.

Unreal Engine 5.6 adds improved default and scalability settings, along with optimizations to reduce mobile game package size. Workflow enhancements include a redesigned UI for the Viewport Toolbar and Content Browser, an on-device iteration process, and a mobile preview solution.
