The changes are coming next week.

Larian Studios is working hard on making Baldur's Gate 3 even more pleasant to play. The team announced that Patch 3 for the game will arrive on September 21 and bring full support for Mac.
Unfortunately, the studio didn't share any notes this time, so we don't know what else to expect, but I (and many other players) hope to see the famed optimization fixes that will "surprise everyone." In my experience, Baldur's Gate 3 does run better now than before the latest patch, but it still has a long way to go.
In the same tweet, Larian thanked its fans and shared some reviews from popular media in a picture that looks suspiciously like something Bethesda posted about its new space game not so long ago.
Baldur's Gate 3's previous patch was released on August 31 and added a new epilogue scene for Karlach along with many other fixes.
With the game launched on PS5 not so long ago, Larian is busy with porting it to Xbox. While there is no date for when we'll see it there, director Swen Vincke mentioned a window between September and November.
