Resident Evil: Death Island is approaching, and with it – new details about the animated movie. A new poster shared by Dusk Golem shows many major characters reunited against a new villain. Seems like Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers have to work together in Death Island. The poster also has a release date on it – July 7.
There are also some new images offering a glimpse of the characters in action.
Resident Evil: Death Island takes place in 2015, after Resident Evil: Vendetta and before Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
"D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection cannot be identified. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all visited Alcatraz Island recently. Following that clue, Chris and his team head to the island, where a new horror awaits them."
