New Tension Map Node for Making Characters in Maya "More Alive"

Mahmood Hasanzadeh has shipped a cool new tool for 3D Riggers and Animators.

Character TD, Rigger, and Software Developer Mahmood Hasanzadeh has shipped Tension Map for Maya, a useful node for Autodesk's flagship character creation, rigging, animation, and simulation software designed to help 3D Riggers and Animators make their digital characters look more lifelike.

As stated by the creator, the node is capable of reading the Stretch and Compress of a mesh and controlling them by the Displace Map and blendshapes, as shown in the video attached above. Mahmood's tool is available for Maya versions 2022, 2023, and 2024 and can be purchased for just $6 by clicking this link.

Earlier, the author also shared a great ivy and tree generator for Maya and several other great tools for the software. You can check them out by visiting Mahmood's Gumroad page.
