Hasbro Inc. CEO Chris Cocks said that the company is working on a new unannounced Dungeons & Dragons video game.
According to a recent report, Hasbro is following a strategy of investing more in video and other games. Gaming is immensely popular among kids and adults and takes up a large share of the audience's leisure time. "We want to reach fans where they want to play, and increasingly that is through digital expressions of their favorite brands," Chris Cocks said.
The company's licensing deal for Monopoly Go is expected to bring in $105 million this year, while a similar deal for Baldur's Gate 3 already brought the company $90 million over the first six months.

Hasbro also intends to make more games itself. Apart from Dungeons & Dragons, it develops an action-adventure game based on the film series GI Joe. It is currently in pre-production. The company already invested $1 billion in developing video games and aims to release one to two video games a year by 2026.
