Nice Chopping Wood LEGO Animation Made in Blender

Looks smooth.

Missing LEGO action? Then you need to visit Dan's Animations and his fun Blender renders, especially the latest – a lumberjack cutting some logs.

Well, it's actually one log over and over again, but don't think this is easy to achieve: Dan shared that this 2-second animation took him 2 weeks to create using models from Mecabricks. Granted, he admits that he's still learning, but the smooth result needs plenty of experience.

Speaking about lighting, Dan mentioned he used HDRI as the main light source, an emissive plane inside, a spot light, and some other lights inside the cabin, so if you want a similar visual, you know what to do.

If you want more 3D LEGO magic, visit Dan on Instagram or YouTube, there is enough to love.
