Nintendo Museum Seems to Be Using Windows PC Emulator to Run SNES Games

The irony.

Nintendo is known for its cult games and consoles as well as the desire to sue everyone for using its products in any way. Emulation is one of its main targets, but it looks like if it's Nintendo itself using it, it doesn't count.

While the company closed popular Yuzu and Ryujinx emulators with lawsuits, X/Twitter user ChrisMack32 uncovered that it is seemingly using a Windows PC emulator to showcase SNES games in the Nintendo Museum.

Chris managed to unplug the USB-connected controller and heard a very recognizable trill Windows users would surely place.

If this is true and not some kind of montage, it doesn't look good for Nintendo. People in the comments are accusing the company of hypocrisy, and you can't blame them: saying that supporting emulators means supporting piracy and then using the products of those evil villians' labor is not a pretty move.

I'm now interested in Nintendo's response, but I wouldn't be surprised if Chris got hit with a lawsuit for messing with the controller.
