Nintendo Sold 61.4M Switch Consoles
Another huge number for the Nintendo team.
Nintendo revealed they sold more than 61.4 million Switch consoles and more than 22.4 million copies of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The data was shared as a part of the company's earnings report for the first fiscal quarter which ended on June 30. The report also noted that Nintendo sold more than 406.7 million copies of games for the console. AS for this quarter, Nintendo sales reacher $3.39 billion, up 108.1% from the previous year with net income reaching $1.0 billion.
Nintendo sold 5.68 million Switch units during this particular quarter (3.05 million Switch units and 2.62 million Nintendo Switch Lite units).
As for other games, Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition sold 1.32 million units, Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics sold 1.03 million units during this financial quarter.
