To provide a safe haven in this dangerous universe, a new robust Hauler starship, called "Iron Vulture", has been introduced. Following the addition of ship customization in the game's last update "Orbital" which was launched this March, the creators have also incorporated a plethora of new customization options in the Adrift update.
According to the developer Hello Games, Adrift originally intended to be merely the next expedition, however it has expanded into an update together with improvements, unique gameplay content, and rewards. The expedition will begin very soon and run for seven weeks, across all platforms, free of charge.
