No Man's Sky Player Cast a Fishing Line to Another Planet

When fishing goes too far.

Recently, Hello Games, the developers of No Man's Sky, introduced the new Aquarius Update that presents users with a new in-game option – fishing. According to the devs, it "felt like the perfect complement to the new water introduced in WORLDS PART I."

Some players have already tried out the new function and found something interesting  – it can not only expand the gameplay experience but also create some peculiar and funny bugs. A Reddit user known as ELuckman posted a video in which the fishing line is cast not in the nearby water but to another neighboring planet. One comment humorously noted, "Imagine how big those fish must be." And indeed, this fishing experience is something new. However, it is not clear in the video if the player could reel it in and actually catch a fish from another planet.

The post is marked with the label "Bug," but users in the comments suggested such far-reaching fishing was possible because of the in-game planet's potential low gravity. The new update provides some interesting features, like getting bottled messages along with fish, but in the patch notes, nothing is said about the gravity influence. What do you think?
