NVIDIA Announced a Monthly Playtime Limit for Its Cloud Gaming Service

The changes for GeForce NOW will come into force at the beginning of the next year.

In a recent blog post, NVIDIA shared that its cloud gaming service GeForce NOW will have a 100-hour monthly playtime limit for Performance and Ultimate members.

Subscribers can keep up to 15 hours of unused playtime and spend them during the following month. Hours over the limit can be purchased: the price is $2.99 for 15 additional hours of Performance or $5.99 for 15 additional Ultimate hours.

According to the post, most of the subscribers use the service within the 100-hour timeframe: "This ample limit comfortably accommodates 94% of members, who typically enjoy the service well within this timeframe." You can check out the amount of time spent on the service via your account portal:

The changes will come into force at the start of the next year, but the current subscribers or those who will sign up by December 31 will get a full year of unlimited playtime until January 2026.
