The past four CES keynotes have focused on GeForce RTX products, with the RTX 40 SUPER series introduced this year. Next year, however, we can expect the debut of NVIDIA's next-generation GPUs, as reports suggest that at CES 2025 in January, NVIDIA will unveil the RTX 5070, RTX 5090, and RTX 5080.
Specs for these graphics cards have been circulating online for some time. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, set to be the flagship of the lineup, is expected to feature 32GB of GDDR7 memory and a power rating of 600 watts. It's rumored that the RTX 5070 will come with a 192-bit memory bus, 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM, and a 250W TBP, marking a +14% increase over the RTX 4070 SUPER (220W).
The RTX 5080 is expected to have 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM on a 256-bit bus, with speeds up to 32 Gbps, offering 1 TB/s of bandwidth. It will have a 400W total board power and presumably be more powerful than the RTX 4090 while requiring less energy.
