Obsidian's Avowed Gets an Official Gameplay Trailer

The game is set to be released in 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.

At Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Obsidian Entertainment released an official gameplay trailer for Avowed, the studio's upcoming first-person RPG, offering a look at the title's visual style and in-game environments, showcasing its intense combat mechanics and magic system, revealing some details about its story, and more.

"Explore the Living Lands, a mysterious island filled with adventure and danger," reads the game's description. "As an envoy of Aedyr, you are sent to investigate rumors of a spreading plague with a secret that threatens to destroy everything. Can you save the island and your soul from the forces threatening to tear them apart?"
