Update VFXGuide's realistic imperfections tool for free.
VFXGuide's OCD or One Click Damage has just been updated for free. In case you missed this, OCD is a popular Blender add-on developed to add realistic damage to objects made from materials like rock, brick, concrete, and others. It's specifically designed for surface detailing, not for full destruction simulations, and draws inspiration from real-world damage patterns.
The tool is fully procedural, allowing you to make changes at any stage, and has a simple and intuitive interface. You can erase damage using masks, and its streamlined workflow makes it easy to apply damage to both simple and complex meshes. Damage can be layered with complete control, and effects can be synced across multiple objects for consistent results, materials can be assigned directly to damaged areas, and you can switch noise patterns with a single click. The HERO module introduced in version 2.0 adds further intricate details to enhance your object.
