Onimusha Anime Gets Release Date in New Trailer

An action-packed samurai adventure is coming soon.

Netflix has released a trailer for its Onimusha anime announcing its arrival on November 2. The series promises a lot of action in Japan’s feudal Sengoku period full of memorable battles and touching moments.

Onimusha is an adaptation of Capcom's popular game series following skilled swordsmen fighting horrifying demons. Directed by Takashi Miike (Dead or Alive, Audition, Ichi the Killer), the show takes you on an adventure with Musashi Miyamoto modeled after the famous actor Toshiro Mifune.

The last title Onimusha saw was the Onimusha: Warlords remaster which appeared in 2018. Hopefully, the anime series will boost the franchise enough for Capcom to release another title in the future.
