Onomatopeya: Using Blender for Indie Game Development

Check out a new render shared by Studio Pomidori which is working on the new indie project.

Indie studio Pomidori focuses on creating concept art and little indie games. The team currently works on a new indie title Onomatopeya and shares work-in-progress images and new results on Twitter. As for now, the prototyping is almost done, and developers published the first lookdev scene made in Blender with a grease pencil and rendered in EEVEE.

Looks impressive, doesn’t it? If you’re interested in learning a grease pencil technique in Blender, check out a tutorial by Jama Jurabaev with a detailed workflow for environment, character, and vehicle art. For those, who are only learning the tool, we suggest checking a beginner tutorial from Dedouze.

Perfect to speed up your dragon creation! Get your horns, scales and spikes while they are flaming hot!

Just insane shader. I love the look of it. The whole model is amazing as well.
