OpenCV Announced Global AI Competition

The participants will find solutions to real-world problems using Spatial AI. 

To celebrate the 20th anniversary, OpenCV, creators of open-source computer vision and machine learning software library, announced a global AI competition. 

The teams will use the new OpenCV AI Kit D (OAK-D), access to 100 hours of free processing time on Azure, access to Intel’s Dev Cloud to build solutions for real-world problems. The contest is sponsored by Microsoft Azure and Intel and will include global and regional winners. 

Creators of top projects will also receive financial prizes.

Global prizes will be given to the top projects across all regions: 

  • First Place: $20K
  • Second Place $10K
  • Third Place $5K

Regional prizes will be awarded to the top projects of each geographical region:

  • First Place: $5k
  • Second Place: $3k
  • Third Place: $2k
  • Popular Vote: $2K
