Blizzard Entertainment revealed the 24th hero of Overwatch, a “mechanical peacekeeper” from the land of Numbani.
Blizzard Entertainment has revealed a new hero for Overwatch. Orisa, a “mechanical peacekeeper” from the land of Numbani, is now playable on the public test realm.
Eleven-year-old prodigy Efi Oladele is the one who developed Orisa after the Omnic Crisis. Her PTR was followed by an animated retelling of Orisa’s origin story that reveals her connection to the young Efi.
Orisa serves as the central anchor of her team, and defends her teammates from the frontline with a protective barrier. She can attack from long range, fortify her own defenses, launch graviton charges to slow and move enemies, and deploy a Supercharger to boost the damage output of multiple allies at once.
