People Have Spent 15.7bn Minutes Playing FIFA 23

EA Sports shared that since the game's release, players have spent over 15.7 billion minutes in the game, played 1.7 billion matches, and scored over 4.3 billion goals.

A month after the release of FIFA 23, EA Sports has shared several significant milestones the game has managed to hit during this time, among others, revealing that players have spent over 15.7 billion minutes in the game which, as EA noted, is equivalent to almost 30,000 years of gameplay.

EA also reminded us that the football simulator sold more than 10.3 million units within the first week of its release and added that during the first month, people played 1.7 billion matches and scored over 4.3 billion goals.

The most selected women’s football team in the game was Chelsea Women, cover athlete Sam Kerr's team. Sam Kerr was also the top goal women’s scorer, followed by Fran Kirby and Marie-Antoinette Katoto. Among the best men's scorers in the game were Marcus Rashford, Kylian Mbappé, and Darwin Núñez.

The publisher also said that Jude Bellingham was the top transfer target for players in Career Mode – more than 630,000 players chose the Borussia Dortmund midfielder for their teams. 

In addition, EA shared that players enjoyed the integration of Ted Lasso, a football manager from the TV series of the same name, with his football club, AFC Richmond, winning over 1 million matches in the game.
