Photorealistic Real-Time 3D Environment Made With Unreal Engine 5

The scene was created by Keio University's Ryuzo.

Have a look at this photorealistic real-time 3D environment created by a Computer Graphics enthusiast known as Ryuzo. Made using Unreal Engine 5, the scene depicts one of the campuses of Keio University, a private research university located in Kanagawa, Japan. According to the creator, the environment was created to showcase Virtual SFC, a technique Keio University's Takeda Lab VR team has been researching for half a year that can "create a virtual space equivalent to reality with full CG".

"Rendering was not done with a path tracer, but with the rule of real-time rendering while keeping FPS at 60 or higher," commented the author. "Various 3D technologies are selected by concentrating on one point of identity with the real space, and the same visual quality is guaranteed in the no-game field such as image recognition simulators and games."

I had a chance to talk to this author in person recently with project management job and reached your article. He now moved on his interest to generative AI research and development and achieved to improve the process of workflow drastically to create high quality Virtual Human characters. I recommend to continue following up with him for the next article about generative AI. I really liked his research and I believe it will grab more attention on the internet with the article published by you.
