Photoshop For iPhone Is Here

A few days ago, Adobe launched Photoshop on mobile, with the iPhone version now available and the Android version set to arrive later this year. The app delivers core Photoshop capabilities like layering, masking, and the Firefly-powered Generative Fill, making it easier and more intuitive to use, and is designed to empower mobile-first creators. Photoshop on iPhone also intends to introduce a new generation of users, who may be just starting out, to Photoshop's powerful features in a simple and user-friendly format.
The base app gives you access to familiar tools like precise selection tools, unlimited layers and masks, hundreds of thousands of free Adobe Stock assets, and two new generative AI features from the desktop version: Generative Fill and Generative Expand. For those seeking more, a premium plan is available that provides full access to the newly updated Photoshop on the web. It includes a broader range of features, offering enhanced editing precision and control, including tools like Magic Wand, Remove Tool, Clone Stamp, Content-Aware Fill, generative AI with Firefly, advanced blend modes, and additional export file formats.
This isn't the first time Photoshop has been brought to mobile devices. Adobe already offers a version of Photoshop for Apple devices called Photoshop for iPad, however, it's unclear whether the new Photoshop for mobile will replace the iPad version and work on both iPhones and iPads.
