Take a look at Loulan: The Cursed Sand, an upcoming action RPG developed by ChillyRoom, which has been revealed with a trailer showcasing Eastern-inspired motives and dynamic combat. The game is currently in development and is planned to launch on PC and PlayStation 5.

The RPG is set along the ancient Silk Road in the Western Regions of China. The story centers around an exiled royal guard returning to a forgotten kingdom of Loulan against the backdrop of a chaotic war. He needs to make his way through the kingdom and find his beloved princess.

You take on the role of the protagonist known as Cursed Sand, a skeletal warrior who possesses the magical power to control sand. The character can spectacularly switch between bone and sand forms, which can affect the story and combat styles. You can use the sand-wielding power to solve puzzles, explore the game's world, and experiment with diverse combat styles.

Loulan: The Cursed Sand features a richly detailed world inspired by Chinese culture, with diverse regions and handcrafted levels, having unique vibes and atmosphere.

While exploring the kingdom, you also participate in the battles that put your fighting skills to the test, as you need to confront many enemies at once. The terrain design, enemy composition, and combat mechanics come together to test your agility.
